The City of Saint-Lambert appeals to residents to give generously this holiday season

Monday 15 November 2021

The City of Saint-Lambert is inviting residents to give generously to help those less fortunate among us by contributing to the 20th edition of La grande guignolée des médias de la Rive-Sud food drive that will be taking place on Thursday, December 2, from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. throughout the Longueuil agglomeration.

This major operation seeks to raise money and collect food items that will be distributed to numerous organizations, including a few in Saint-Lambert. The donations will be used to provide food assistance to people in our community who are most in need during the holidays, and also to provide emergency food services throughout the year.

“During this time of celebration and abundance for many, I invite all of Saint-Lambert’s residents to spare a thought for those less fortunate among us who are going through hard times. I encourage them to contribute generously to La grande guignolée des médias de la Rive-Sud, to bring a little holiday cheer and hope to these members of our community. I would also like to invite them to extend these positive values of sharing and caring into the year by regularly offering their support to people in need,” said Mayor Pascale Mongrain.
