In this exhibition, Masako Miyazaki presents a series of photographs taken in her neighbourhood. Trees are the main subject, as well as metaphors for her thoughts. Trees are a source of life for the artist and an integral part of her daily life. When she walks along with camera in hand, trees help her become herself again, escape the hectic bustle of city life and slow down her own pace. When she feels this sensation, she releases the shutter and captures the otherwise-fleeing encounter.
The artist invites you to her vernissage on Wednesday, October 26, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
